IT Project Manager - (For Buildings / Estates)Hybrid Cambridge / Chelmsford & WFH circ £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsAn IT Project Manager with proven experience managing IT related projects for new buildings / offices / refurbs / fit outs etc required for this hybrid position that can be based from either a Cambridge or Chelmsford site depending on candidate preference.This is an exciting time to be joining our client as they embark on a major programme of work following a recent merger. With a vast estate of buildings and facilities in multiple locations spread across the East of England, the IT Project Manager will overseethe installation of any IT needs for new buildings, refurbished buildings, new fit outs for offices / learning and teaching space. This could include IT hardware, networks, cabling, access points, Wi-Fi, door entry systems, video conferencing, digital meetingroom solutions etc. The IT Project Manager will be expected to have worked closely with building project / delivery management teams in the past and have an understanding of RIBA stages.The post can be carried out on a hybrid office / work from home basis and will require visits to sites in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough. Youd be expected to be onsite as and when needed, and thats likely to average out to be 4 - 6 times a month butcan vary depending on the needs of the projects. To be considered for this position youll be expected to have the following skills, qualifications and experience:* Proven experience of managing and delivering IT projects for new / refurbished buildings.* Knowledge of RIBA stages and experiencing working with building project teams.* Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.* Experience working closely with Senior Stakeholders and colleagues.* Experience managing 3rd Party Suppliers.* Excellent people, organisational, documentation and communication skills.* Have the ability to travel to sites in Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough as and when needed.* Experience working with project management methods such as Prince2, Agile, Waterfall etc* A degree and / or Project Management qualification in either Prince 2, Agile or similar.
