We may have the role for you!Your responsibilities will include IT administration, user administration, system maintenance, IT documentation, policy and process writing, IT auditing, MSP liaison, IT project delivery and user trainingDuties & Responsibilities of the IT Administrator

  • General administration of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and the Cloud Storage solution.
  • Purchasing, setting up and issuing hardware (e.g. laptops to users) as well as managing equipment lifecycles such as retirement and disposal and maintaining an accurate asset database.
  • Acting as a representative of the TechOps division within the wider company; discussing projects with users, announcing and explaining changes, soliciting and actioning feedback.
  • Collaborating with the managed service provider (MSP) to ensure that high quality user support and systems management is maintained
  • Contributing towards a wide range of internally delivered and outsourced IT projects (e.g., implementing and testing new systems, software and hardware)
  • Conducting audits across systems, e.g., checking access rights and reporting on inactivity
  • Supporting with the response to any real or suspected cyber security incident, such as phishing notifications or Microsoft Defender alerts.
  • Creating and maintaining IT-related documentation such as process guides, training guides and company policies.
  • Providing training to end users on the companys IT systems and equipment.
Is this you
  • Some experience in an IT related role, a relevant bachelors degree, or an entry level industry standard qualification (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL)
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Microsoft Cloud Solutions (Azure, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune.)
  • An understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment and willingness to learn other company systems.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to exceed deadlines.
  • The ability to conduct work on projects in a focused way, providing pragmatic solutions to resolve potential problems.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise your own time and coordinate with others.
  • Experience with asset management, cloud storage, Adobe products, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
