We are retained by a global leading business to find an extraordinary individual to lead their supply chain operation in the UK, servicing European and Global Destinations. They are experiencing unprecedented double-digit growth for a number of years and have an incredible order book that most businesses and sectors can only dream of acquiring. It is because of this and changes in operational working due to Brexit, which sees them looking to bring in a talented individual.Reporting to the international Director/VP, you will take full operational and financial responsibility for their supply-chain operation in the UK. The business is flying currently, investing and seeing fantastic opportunities, but it needs to bring in expertise.Of graduate calibre, you will have a demonstrable background in supply chain management operations, involving imports, exports, demand and inventory planning/management and developing global supply chains. Additionally, you will have experience in leading/managing HMRC approved, IPR and Bonded warehousing operations and all the complexities of Duty and VAT that it entails. This is an absolute must due to Brexit and ideally, you will also have experience in establishing new operations in Central Europe to service other parts of the EU.Lets be clear, they are a global brand from out of the US, firmly rooted in the UK and not moving from it. But on an international scale, the UK controls and drives everywhere else and with such high demand and operational changes due to borders, their business and associated supply chains are only growing and getting more complex.The business is awesome and very innovative. You will have to be a team player and be not afraid to roll your sleeves up when required.
