Job Description

Our client, a global technology business has an exciting new opportunity for a creative Full-Stack Web Developer to join their team. Working within the Digital IT business unit that provides customer focused applications and web component platforms.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and support highly scalable front-end applications and backend systems/web services.
  • Craft solutions with influencing performance of microservices.
  • Gather, refine and translate highly-complex visual designs and business needs into clean, usable and understandable solutions.
  • Work with commercial solutions from Microsoft, Sitecore, coveo and akamai; specific skills will be developed on the job, (previous knowledge of C# and web standards are required).
Experience & Knowledge
  • Ability to develop both the front end and backend services.
  • A keen interest in front-end technologies including ReactJS, Typescript, Javascript and HTML 5 /CSS3.
  • A good understanding of API development, integration, cloud (preferably Azure) and server-side technologies such as NodeJS
  • Know Javascript, ES6 or Typescript, HTML5, CSS and principles of responsive design
  • Understand Test Driven Development and can operate within CI/CD pipeline (Git / gitflow, Jenkins, Selenium, jmeter/Blaze Meter)
  • Have a solid grasp of coding standards and guidelines for various languages.
  • Have deep understanding of REST, how to effective build and run apis.
  • Understand backend application and API development experience ideally in Mulesoft. C# and/or Java.
  • Can translate user-centered design requirements into technical implementations for projects.
