Job Description

Do you want to further your legal support experience within an international law firm, where you will work closely with Lawyers & ClientsFloat Legal Assistant - 12 months FTC - Cambridge with hybrid workingClientAn expanding Tier1 Legal 500 international law firmThe role

  • To provide effective holiday and sickness support for the Team Assistants based either in Cambridge but with flexibility to travel to London, when required.
  • Working across the business supporting the legal teams in a fast paced environment, the role is ideally suited to a candidate who is proactive, flexible and has exceptional organisational skills.
Responsibilities include:
  • Proactively managing partners inboxes to ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Answer external and internal calls and ensure accurate messages are taken.
  • Collate outgoing post daily; this includes printing, photocopying, scanning and filing/e-filing.
  • Support lawyers with the file opening and closing processes.
  • Deal with client queries and general administration tasks.
You
  • Previous experience gained in an administrative role supporting a legal team
  • Excellent IT skills across a broad range of MS Office and other business management applications.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Organised and methodical
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate effectively, with warmth and professionalism, to clients and colleagues
  • High levels of discretion, with the ability to deal effectively with sensitive or confidential information.
