Job Description

Pay: NegotiableHours of Work: Mon-Fri, 6pm-3am (NIGHTS)Type: Until xmasStart Date: ASAPWe are hiring for fire door fitters/installers that have a CSCS card and can travel around CambridgeshireDuties of a fire door fitter/installerYou will be responsible for:

  • Fit fire doors correctly
  • Repairs to fire doors, such as locks and seals
  • Undertaking fire stopping works in the built environment
  • Ongoing maintenance and refurbishment work
Skills and experience of a fire door fitter/installerAs a fire door fitter/installer, you need have experience with;
  • Element fire installation qualifications
  • Ability to follow technical drawings
  • Ability to use your initiative
  • Confidence to work at height
  • Knowledge of building and construction
It would be beneficial to the Fire door fitter/fire stopper role if you also had;
  • Completed training course/apprenticeship
  • NVQ Level
  • Bm Trada or Firas
