Job Description

Finance Assistant - Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)Tate is working with an independent school in Cambridge who have the opportunity for you to join their friendly, professional, and busy finance department. Job Overview:
  • Purchase ledger - processing and coding a high volume of invoices ready for payment
  • School trip administration and payment collection
  • Petty cash and expenses
  • Dealing with supplier queries and staff queries relating to expenses
  • Reconciliation of cash and credit card payments
  • Floats for tuck shop and charity events
  • Maintaining the ParentPay system for online payments and acting as a point of contact for parents with any queries
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Accountancy/bookkeeping qualification (AAT or part-qualified)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience using Accounting system/s
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
  • Good at managing your work load and prioritising
