Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a Junior Family Solicitor to join a Legal 500 recognised firm based in Cambridge.The FirmOur client is a highly regarded practice with multiple Legal 500 recognised departments firm wide.This leading firm are seeking an enthusiastic junior Solicitor to join their progressive family team in Cambridge.The OpportunityThe role would suit a passionate Solicitor who is dedicated to their specialism with a track record of wide-ranging family work.This a brilliant opportunity to work for a close-knit team, who place huge emphasis on maintaining a supportive and collegiate working environment.The role will involve:

  • Advising on divorce law, children, financial and DV issues relevant to relationship breakdown including the unmarried family and enforcement, appeals, setting aside and variation
  • Advising clients on cohabitation and premarital agreements
  • Drafting and preparing relevant documentation such as consent orders
  • Working alongside senior team members to assist with negotiations
From day one, the successful candidate can expect a diverse caseload of private family matters. In addition, there will be significant opportunity to progress down a more specialist path, such as mediation and Fertility Law.Benefits

Requirements
  • Experience commensurate to that of NQ to 4 years PQE
  • Proven experience in a broad range of private family matters
  • Illustrates a clear ability to build personal relationships with clients
  • Can demonstrate a high level of client service
