Role: Embedded Software DeveloperLocation: Cambridge / RemoteSalary: £65,000 - £80,000We have a brand new - and exclusive embedded software engineer positions available working with a truly innovative technology business in Cambridge. The organisation, who are investor funded, with an IPO in the pipeline are continuing to build their softwareteams across the board to help further drive their product evolution. The business specialise in bio/med-tech that is changing the world, helping scientists to make better decisions in the battle to diagnose and treat disease.As part of the embedded software development team you will be involved with the following:- Python and C programming- Writing software that interfaces with hardware - Robotics / pumps etc.- Data Manipulation / presentation- Software testing- API development for control of bespoke electronic equipment- Solutions design- Requirement gathering from non-technical staff members.- Medical device / medical instrumentation programming- Image processing / pattern recognition- Breadboarding / prototyping Microcontrollers / Raspberry Pi with {IC, STM32, Arduino, BeagleBone etc.Youll work alongside scientists and mechanical designer engineers to develop medical device instruments.
