Job Description

Electronics & Software Engineer – Cambridge - £55,000 - £70,000 paAn innovative electronics R&D and manufacturer are looking for an Electronics & Software Engineer to join their team designing next generation products used in various industries including the consumer electronics & electric vehicles market.Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing & testing Embedded Software and Electronics Hardware
  • Working on the design & development of new products
  • Contribute to documentation processes and changes, release notes, user manuals etc.
  • Compile BoM’s, part selection and sourcing etc.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • Embedded C/C++
  • Microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M series, STM32 etc.)
  • Serial Interfaces & Peripherals (I2C, SPI, UART etc.)
  • PCB Design & Layout
  • Analogue & Digital Circuit Design
  • Electronics test equipment for debugging
  • Knowledge/experience of the full design lifecycle
Any mix of the following is nice to have’s:
  • Other programming languages (C#, Python etc.)
  • Bare-metal programming
  • Motor control/drives
  • Wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS etc.)
