Electrical Supervisor - Cambridge - temporary - R&D projectA reputable contractor are currently recruiting for a temporary Electrical Supervisor to work on a large R&D Laboratory in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The focus will be the closing stages of the project and the snagging phases ensuring its finished to highstandard. Immediate start with anticipated finish date of end of February 2024. As the Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:· Allocate the workload accordingly, meeting deadlines and maintaining standards and quality of workmanship at all times.· Leading teams of Electricians, Electrical Mates/Improvers and specialist electrical sub-contractors.· Snagging phase of the project ensuring completed to high standard.· Ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times.· Organising materials and sub-contractors.· Toolbox talks.· Attend site meetings. Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:· Hold SSSTS.· Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Electrical systems and their installation methods.· Time served Apprentice or relevant Electrical qualifications.· Experience of snagging.· Good people management and motivational skills.· The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.· The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.· Day to day problem solving and answering/ resolving any technical queries.· Full responsibility in assuring the installation is of a high standard.
