You will play a key role in understanding our customers and performance drivers.As a Digital Measurement & Analytics Lead you will take the lead in improving our use of web analytics, ensuring we derive better understanding of our web traffic and supporting staff in their use of these tools to interpret user behaviour, allowing it to guidedecision making and the development of products and services online.About You:We are looking for someone who has prior experience in implementing and managing web analytics. You will play a critical role in providing the organisation with decision support through strategic interpretation of data and creation of insights. You will usea range of web analytics, visualisation tools and data sources to investigate customer behaviour, helping provide insight into performance, customer use of products & services, and formulating actionable recommendations to help to inform commercial decision-making.As a Digital Measurement & Analytics Lead you will formulate recommendations for how value is best measured and related through digital KPIs to a set of overall organisational goals. You will effectively work with and communicate those recommendations to relevantstakeholders. You will encourage a data informed approach to decision-making across the organisation, helping the business to understand what impact initiatives have on customer experience and what new opportunities and efficiencies exist.We are looking for: Demonstrable experience of establishing, implementing and embedding a web analytics strategy and approach, using analytics to drive business decisions An expert in analytics, with extensive experience with a range of web analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag manager, Google Optimize and Hotjar Experience working with large data sets from a wide variety of sources, experience of SQL and knowledge of statistical methodologies Track record of working across a complex organisation and successfully managing a variety of stakeholders Track record of working with data to create business insights and recommendations. Ability to understand what data will be beneficial to our organisation Use data from a variety of web channels as well as offline sources to build dashboards and reports through analysis software e.g., Google Data Studio Robust knowledge of the existing and emergent regulatory and compliance context for data privacy and protection.We offer excellent benefits. The contractual base for this role is Cambridge, however we are currently piloting hybrid working, and you may be able to work from a location other than this, as agreed with your line manager.
