Start: ImmediateHours: Mon to Fri 8:30am to 17:30pmLocation: Waterbeach, Cambridge, CB25Salary: £CompetitiveHR ConsultantWe are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our team that provides an excellent outsourced HR service to a variety of SMEs and not for profit organisations mainly based within East Anglia. This role is available through rapid growth of the divisionand will be an additional head count to our existing HR Consultant.You will have an in-depth knowledge of employment law as well as excellent interpersonal skills. You will be able to generate new business, develop leads and ensure that the administration of the service is maintained. You will be responsible for the provisionof a HR services to a number of clients across different sectors and businesses.This is an exciting and unique opportunity for you as a HR Professional to be involved in the growth of this new and evolving department within an established consultancy.Responsibilities:* Lead on the growth of the HR function in the business* Making outbound calls to existing and new clients to generate leads and appointments* Generating leads using a variety of sources including the internal database, mailers, blogs and social media connections.* Arranging meetings with new prospects and following up on meetings to ascertain interest in our business offering* Provide competent HR advice and support on a diverse range of topics* Provide HR health checks for all new clients with detailed compliance report including any recommendations* Provide branded and tailored handbooks, policies, procedures and contracts* Explore the development of tailored HR packages dependent on clients requirements (retainers, project work)* Provide telephone and email-based helpline support* Attend relevant networking events* General administration to ensure client information is kept up to date and in line with current data protection guidelines* Ensure your understanding of employment law and current case law is kept up to date through own research and attendance of relevant training, breakfast seminars, webinars etc.* Sourcing relevant legislative changes and converting into industry leading blogs* Working closely with marketing in an effort to evolve our service offering, marketing content and newsletter campaignPerson Specification Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities Essential* Minimum qualification a HR related degree or Level 3 or 5 CIPD* In depth, generalist knowledge of employment law* Demonstrable experience of writing HR Policies* Excellent communication skills - oral and written* Proven ability of presenting ideas/proposals to a variety of audiences* Relates well to people from all backgrounds and levels and treats everyone with respect* Ability to negotiate and influence where necessary* Consistently helpful, positive and collaborative* Builds rapport easily* Engages with others to better understand their requirements, develop and implement appropriate solutions/improvements* Engages and shares information with colleagues, internal and external audiences to support agreed courses of action* Show initiative and is willing to take decisions within the accepted parameters of the role* Attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to prioritise and escalate where necessary* Customer focused approach* Manages own work to deliver on time and to agreed timescales* Strives to improve their professional development* Organisational and planning skills* ICT literate with accurate keyboard skillsDue to the nature of this position you are required to hold a full UK driving licence and possess your own vehicle.If you are interested in the role of Dedicated HR Manager and feel that you have the relevant experience, please contact your Recruitment Partner, Stuart Logan at Aspire Recruitment on or email If this job isnt exactly right for you but youre looking for something new, please contact us for a confidential career discussion.Aspire Cambridge is acting as an Employment Agency in regard to this Permanent opportunity.
