Job Description

Role: Data & Analytics Business AnalystLocation: Fully remote role + 1 day per every 2 weeks in CambridgeDuration: 7 months + poss extension to summer 2024Rate: £500 per day LTD/ UMB –Outside IR35Overview:As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for detailing the requirements for Data & Analytics project delivery / service development.By building a deep understanding of customers’/ stakeholders’ needs and expectations you will turn these requirementsinto user-stories with acceptance criteria for development teams, working closely with the Product Owner to ensure stories are prioritised and delivered effectively.Additional:

  • Experience of performing a similar role as part of a Data & Analytics team
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to discover and interpret user requirements and build user- stories
  • Knowledge of frameworks to support performing a “current state” assessment of business processes e.g. value stream mapping, SIPOC, etc.
  • Knowledge of frameworks to support the development of new products and services based on customer values and needs e.g. value proposition canvas, lean business canvas
  • Previous experience of process change and/or technology implementation (RPA, Ariba, ERP etc.)
  • Practical use of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience of using JIRA/Confluence or other similar tools
  • Experience with risk and issues management
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working in a pharmaceutical industry
  • Willingness to undertake some domestic / international travel (as required)
  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
