Salary: £25,000 - £29,000Location: Cambridge or Coventry (depending on where you live)Contract: 6-month Fixed Term ContractWe are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.We have a number of opportunities to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract as a Compliance officer. In this important and varied role, you will co-ordinate the work of OCRs complaints system and support the work of other processes managed in the Complianceteam.About the roleAs a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the complaints hub, maintaining schedules of work and records, providing accurate data and follow up to complaints, regulatory enquiries and compliance issues.You will support the trainingand development of staff working on the process.You will be an essential part of the Compliance team as you develop new skills that enable you to support the team, recommending improvements and relevant actions that need to be taken to ensure smooth running of the complaints process.This is a varied role that offers an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in different areas. In addition to your work on complaints, you will support the OCR Safeguarding Officer in the logging of safeguarding referrals, process access arrangementsand special consideration applications, assist in the processing of appeals and investigate and make decisions on issues of malpractice related to OCR qualifications in accordance with established procedures.About youYou will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with exceptional organisation skills.Ideally, you will have experience of working in a regulated environment, with proven ability to prioritise tasks appropriately and experience of using your own judgement to make decisions.You will have experience of working in a customer facing role, where you have given advice and guidance to customers and colleagues.
