Commercial Marketing ManagerThe client is a large technology business operating internationally, which has a diverse and enviable portfolio of leading-edge products and brands, and enjoys an exceptional reputation for quality and continued innovation.The customer base and profile is wide ranging and Global, active across a number of market segments, each with its own dynamics and requirements; as such, intelligent and informed strategic product marketing is essential to increasing market share both in mature and developing markets.The role is responsible for owning, developing and implementing a commercial marketing strategy for products with significant brand equity, fully aligning to Business objectives, the needs and demands of end-user customers, and sales channel partners and distributors across global regions. An agile and creative approach is important, ensuring that opportunities for the product / brand are identified and capitalised upon, and adapting marketing approach in response to competitor and market developments, and sales performance. Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of markets, customers and the competitor landscape will be crucial, gathering and utilising insight to create impactful value propositions and go-to-market strategies, so that commercial objectives are realised. Robust and timely reporting of marketing performance, ROI and KPI’s will be important.The role requires a highly collaborative approach, working closely with international Sales, technical Product Management, and the wider Marketing and Communications team, in order to define commercial objectives, understand challenges, realise marketing synergies and opportunities, and ensure a fully integrated marketing strategy is delivered.Candidates will have a track record in commercial Product led Marketing, ideally bringing Technology brands and products to market, possibly both B2B and B2C. Having worked closely with sales channels to achieve clear revenue goals, you understand the commercial impact of marketing, and the importance of meaningful insight, analysis, and reporting. You will have experience of Digital as a fully integrated route to market, and experience of channel distributors would be of benefit, as would exposure to International or European markets. You are able to meld strategic marketing skills with a hands-on and creative approach, and are comfortable managing projects and virtual teams.This role may be commutable for candidates based in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St.Edmunds, Stowmarket, Newmarket, Thetford, Mildenhall, Huntingdon, Braintree, Bishops Stortford, Norwich, Haverhill, Royston, Saffron Walden.
