Job Description

Cancer Biologist role in Cambridge, £20-£25/hour, 12-month contract Your new companyYou will join a multinational pharmaceutical company that pushes boundaries within science, this company believe that possibilities are limitless and they focus on delivering life changing medicines. Due to their ever-continuous success and growth an opportunity has arisen for a cancer biologist to join the oncology R&D department.Your new roleThis exciting new role allows you to demonstrate your skill set in cancer biology, cancer therapeutics and cell biology. You will be joining a thriving team that work with a wide range of cancer models which support drug resistance from CRISPR screens and singlecell sequencing.What youll need to succeed

  • A PhD in cancer biology, cancer therapeutics, cell biology, or related discipline.
  • Understanding of performing cell culture in cancer cell lines.
  • Knowledge surrounding performing molecular cloning, lentiviral production, Western blotting, flow cytometry, and cell viability assays.
  • An interest in performing cell-based screens and using CRISPR-based methodologies in mammalian cells.
  • A collaborate team player
