CK Group currently have an opportunity for a talented Bioanalytical Scientist with a drug discovery background, to join a well-established contract research organisation (CRO) at their R&D facilities located in Cambridge on a permanent basis. Job Summary:You will work at the interface between chemistry and biology, analysing samples prepared from a variety of biological matrices. You will contribute to several different projects, across the whole drug discovery spectrum. The successful applicant will work with an experienced analytical group leader and contribute to the expansion and evolution of our growing department.An ideal candidate will also have experience in some of the following areas:- In vitro ADME and related assays e.g. hepatocyte stability, plasma-protein binding- Handling of mammalian cells- Protein and BioanalysisYour Background:- Ph.D/ M.Sc/ B.Sc/ degree in chemistry, natural sciences, or biochemistry.- Industrial experience (ideally more than 3 years), with a proven track record in analytical assay development and delivery of results where your conclusions have guided projects- Experience with mass spectrometry (LC-MS)- Experience with plate-based assays- The ability to generate bespoke assays for client-based projects, Apply:For more information or to apply for this position, please contact Naynesh Mistry at CK Group on or email , quoting job ref 48652It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
