Job Description

If you are an experienced low level platform software engineer seeking an exciting new position in a thriving company then this Bare Metal Software Developer role might just be the one for you!Working in a friendly team of highly skilled developers you will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of low level embedded software for this market leading communications device manufacturer.Experience and Skills:

  • Degree in relevant subject
  • Experience of platform development of a commercially released product.
  • Experience with microcontroller families like STM32, Renesas or similar.
  • Experience with bare-metal development and FreeRTOS.
  • Excellent knowledge of the C programming language in real-time multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software.
  • Experience with drivers like UART, I2C, SPI, 1-wire etc.
  • Developing production quality real time embedded software for low level device drivers.
  • Experience of using configuration management and fault tracking tools.
