SCADA - Virtualisation - VMware - Wonderware - High level IT Has the above captured your interest Our well-known food manufacturing client is looking for an Automation Engineer/ Systems Facilitator to join their hard working, fast-paced, progressive team. The successful candidate will:* Provide technical support to the site electricians whilst delivering professional and proactive response to breakdown situations.* Provide effective training programmes for the electrical members of the engineering team with respect to industrial controls. To step change the performance and efficiency of the existing plant through continuous improvement, first time fixes and good root cause analysis.* Work with the Automations Manager to develop and review existing Automation systems to make them more effective and reliable. This will involve a lot of data collecting. * Be a key player in driving improvements and reliability in isolation and with the Maintenance Technicians.* Hold a formal Engineering qualification - HND electrical Engineering or equivalent* Ideally have 3 years plus experience in a control system engineering role and detailed understanding of control systems and processes* Have SCADA experience and knowledge. * Good working knowledge of computer hardware with experience of virtualisation and VMware products.
