We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Cambridge University Hospitals, Histopathology Department in the Immunohistochemistry area. The department provides a Histopathology and Diagnostic Cytology service for the Cambridgeshire area. The laboratory processes approximately 90,000 histological cases and 9,600 non-gynaecological cases per year. The department is well equipped, fully computerised and UKAS accredited to ISO 15189 standards.The Immunohistochemistry department is a large, busy service, producing over 160,000 slides per year. It services both Histopathology and the Haematopathology-Oncology Diagnostic Service (HODS).If you like to be busy and enjoy working in a laboratory environment then consider joining our team as an Associate Practitioner providing support to the scientists working across the department.
