Job Description

Assistant Engineering GeologistLocation: CambridgeStarting Salary: £24,000 - £25,000This is an exciting opportunity for an assistant engineering geologist to join an expanding geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering consultancy in their Cambridge office.No previous experience is required for this junior geologist role. All you need is a degree in geology/geoscience/earth science and a full UK drivers licence!This assistant engineering geologist role offers:

  • Site investigation work (borehole drilling, soil/rock logging/trial pitting)
  • Phase 1 desk studies
  • Phase 2 site investigations
  • Site supervision
  • Client liaison
  • Factual report writing
  • Risk assessments
