Area Sales Manager - Sports Coatings / SurfacesJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Sports Coatings / SurfacesIndustry Sector: External Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Construction Products, Aggregates, Resin Flooring, Concrete Flooring, Resins, Mortars, Sports Surfaces, Sports Epoxy Flooring Systems, Coatings, Polyurethane Flooring Systems, Concrete Repair,Surface Treatments, Concrete Additives, Paints, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Architects, SpecifiersArea to be covered: your location will determine your territoryRemuneration: £30,000 - £40,000neg (depending on experience) + negotiable bonusHybrid company car (Passat / Golf equivalent) & full comprehensive benefits package The role of Area Sales Manager - Sports Coatings / Surfaces will involve:

  • Area Sales Manager position selling a manufactured range of sports surfaces and coating products for the application of tennis courts, sports surfaces and line markings
  • The majority of your time will be spent selling to main & sub-contractors
  • The remaining portion of your time will focus on influencing and generating specification with architects (a route to market with a lot of potential)
  • Working on projects such as: schools, councils, local authorities and some private
  • Dealing with projects sizes between £5k-£30k on average
  • Once up and running will be expected to turnover £400k-£500k per annum
  • Working in conjunction with a great internal sales team and National Sales Manager
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Sports Coatings / Surfaces with:
  • Must have sales experience, ideally within the construction industry selling to main & sub-contractors
  • Ideally sold a technical related product range such as: resin flooring, resins, concrete flooring, sports surfaces, sports flooring, adhesives, sealants, paints, road markings however would be open for the right person
  • Ideally have some specification experience however not essential
  • Highly organised, motivated and driven
  • Must be energetic and willing to learn
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbally
  • Must be computer literate
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
