An exciting opportunity for a Contract application engineer has arisen with one of top medical consultancies in Cambridge, who develop a range of products to address global markets. My client is open to hearing from candidates who are looking for a role where they will be genuinely excited by the technology they are working with, to make a difference to patient’s lives and will embrace the culture found in successful medical consultancy companies.Experience- No particular need in years of experience, but must be experienced and jump in without too much training.- The application software engineer will be needed to write software (and associated documentation) to IEC62304 medical software standard.- The software will be written in a mixture of C++ and Python, and will run on a Linux platform.- The nature of the software is image processing.Type of workA medical scanning project 3D reconstruction and image scanning, restricting of 3D shapes and documenting (medical).Remote workingThey are offering some remote working, contact me to find out more about this.
