Job Description

Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone. Our justice system defends our fundamental rights and freedoms. It is a cornerstone of our modern society and it must serve all those who call on it, when they call on it. From some of the most vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis,claimants and commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates efficientlyOur Public Sector client our currently recruiting an Administrator to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis based at the Cambridge County Court.The role is Monday to Friday, you will be working 37 hours per week between the hours of 9am - 5pm and the role is fully office-based. The rate of pay is £10.57 an hour with holiday entitlement and pension scheme available. The client is central to Cambridgeand is based close to local amenities.The role is Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm (37 hours per week).The rate of pay is £10.57 an hour. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available.In this role, you will be providing administrative support to our Residential Property Tribunal. The role involves various administrative tasks of work to progress customer appeals to ensure access to justice in an efficient and effective manner.The role will include, but will not be restricted to;

  • " Managing your own case load
  • " Managing spreadsheets
  • " Reviewing given cases
  • " Chasing for information as required Liaising with colleagues and external companies
  • " Preparing papers and/or digital files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
  • " Producing tribunal documents including creating and updating records digitally
  • " Preparing meeting agenda, joining instructions, handouts etc. Using standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions.
  • " Clerking tribunals and hearings, ensuring papers and materials are available and up to date.
The ideal candidate will come from an Administration background. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and administration skills and be able to work to their own initiative.The successful candidate for this role will hold the below skill sets and traits -
  • " The ability to manage your own case load and prioritise work as required
  • " Must be flexible
  • " Must be willing to learn and develop
  • " Proficient knowledge in IT
