You will need to be able to initially work from home and then from our Cambridge office, travelling frequently within the UK and overseas, in line with Covid-19 guidance.Responsibilities:• Managing International Degree Accreditation.• Managing the approval of external training courses and other CPD activity.• Developing a sustained approach to enhance knowledge of professional recognition within the next generation of chemical scientists.• Actively applying sales skills to secure new customers and revenue.• Managing projects with budgets of up to £250K.About You:Essential;• A first degree or equivalent in chemical science and currently (or eligible to be) a Member (MRSC) and Chartered Chemist (CChem).• Consolidated knowledge of science and professional key skills developed through employment.• Able to apply knowledge critically and to evaluate data relating to education and training in an accurate and equitable manner.• Able to secure new customers and revenue and network competently with RSC colleagues, members on committees, senior university staff, employers of chemists and peers at other professional bodies.Desirable;• Able to develop and sustain a personal knowledge of global higher education, professional education and lifelong learning activities.• An awareness of the range of organisations that employ chemical scientists.• A good understanding of qualifying standards, quality assurance mechanisms and markets for degree courses and professional development programmes.At the Royal Society of Chemistry, we support development and offer great benefits.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply by the end of the closing date.You may have experience of the following: Accreditation Development Specialist, Accreditations Specialist, Manager of Quality & Accreditation, Education Coordinator, Accreditation Assistant, Accreditations, Accreditation Project Manager, Programme Manager, Chemistry Teacher, Chemistry Lecturer, Chemistry Tutor, Qualifications, Learning & Development, Process Engineer, Chemical Sciences, Chemistry, Charity, Charities, NFP, Not for Profit, etc.Ref: 97498
