Reco Energy is a leading renewable energy installer in the South West with over 35 years of experience in the energy sector. We are seeking an experienced Electrician with 5 years of experience to join our team in the Devon & Cornwall area.Great benefits including flexitime and paid overtime.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Renewable Energy installer based in Kelly Bray, Cornwall. We cover all of Devon and Cornwall, although most of our work is within a 30-mile catchment area from the office.About Us:We have a combined experience in the energy sector of +35 years installing high quality renewable energy systems. From first contact to commissioning day the process is efficient and streamlined:

1. An in depth survey for Solar PV or a Heat Pump is carried out by our knowledgeable surveyors using our in-house developed software
2. The app generates a quotation and provides a parts specification. Customers are presented with honest, in-depth information and fully understand what is involved before going ahead..
3. Once the customer agrees to go ahead all parts are ordered by the office team and held in our unit
4. On the first day of installation the install team heads straight to site, all parts are delivered by our in house delivery team later that day. Any parts needed throughout the installation can be collected from our unit, parts are scanned out and automaticallyreordered.
5. On commissioning day all certificates are filled out digitally on a tablet.

• Electrical installation of Solar PV and Battery Storage Systems
• Electrical installation of Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps
• Installation of EV Chargers
• Installation of Energy Monitoring
• Carrying out EICRs in a domestic and commercial environment and carrying out any remedial work necessary
• Installation of three phase distribution boards, metal trunking and armoured cables associated with repowering larger sites to benefit from Solar PV and Battery Storage
• The role will include training an electrical apprentice and supervising other work associated with the installation of Solar PV systems
• Commissioning of Solar PV, Battery Storage Systems and Heat Pumps (full training to be provided)
• Assisting with other tasks associated with the installation of Solar PV and Heat Pumps

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in the industry
• NVQ/City and Guilds
• Full UK Driving Licence
• 18th edition (training can be provided if update from 17th required)
• CSCS card
• 2391 Test & Inspection (or other relevant qualification)

Desirable Skills:

• JIB Gold card
• C&G 2919 EV Charger Installation
• C&G 2399 Solar PV Installation (or similar)
• Experience installing Solar PV, Battery Storage, Heat Pumps or EV charging points
