Eden Brown Education are proud to be working with a SEND School in Derbyshire. They require additional Support Workers to work supporting their children who live within their residential setting on site at the school.Support Workers - Required for various shifts - £9.00 per hour Shifts available Monday to Friday Earlies, 7.15am - 15.15pm and Lates, 15.15pm - 9.45pmWould you like to take on a new role that will give you a true sense of job satisfaction every day As a Support Worker at our clients School you will work alongside the best in their field and give quality care and guidance to the young people at their residential school.Training in key areas such as, First Aid, Safeguarding and Non-Abusive Physical and Psychological Intervention is all provided as part of the role.You will support the young people in their home, the classroom, and out in the community. This means no day is ever the same. Care Assistants have supported residents to go rock climbing, Horse riding, try archery and even go on holidays!As a Support Worker you will experience challenging behaviour, but we will provided you will the appropriate training and a series of shadow shifts so you can be confident in your ability to handle these situations safely.This position involves delivering personal care, including toileting and bathing.The School is an independent specialist day and residential school for young people aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour. Many of our students also have mental health and therapy needs. The school believe that students should be happy, have fun and enjoy their learning. They improve the lives of students by supporting and encouraging them to choose activities and by introducing them to new experiences and opportunities.
