Job Description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Primary School Teacher to work in a Welsh Medium School for two terms starting in January in a Year 5/6 class. The succesful candidate will be expected to take on a full classroom role, including planning and marking.Teaching Personnelare working with aprimary school who are looking for an exceptional, qualified teacher to join this thriving school.School details:The school is categorised as a Green School and is situated in Caerphilly and is maintained by Caerphilly education authority. The catchment area includes the town and surrounding areas, including Nelson, Penpedairheol, Cefn Hengoed, Hengoed and Maesycymmer. The school is designated a Welsh-medium school according to the education authority?s language policy. Welsh is the main language spoken at home by 12% of pupils but, by the end of key stage 2, most are able to speak Welsh fluently.The school strives to provide an excellent education for all of their children, helping them develop the confidence, skills, curiosity and understanding to grow and progress academically, socially and emotionally. The school believe in educating the whole child, and providing a personalised approach to learning which means that children are supported, challenged, stretched and inspired in a wide range of exciting learning opportunities through broad, balanced and engaging curriculum.The school supports teachers to bring their own innovative ideas to their lessons and practice. The pupils are supported by teachers and teaching assistants to ensure a level of good behaviour and have a respectful attitude to learning.The ideal candidate will have the appropriate teaching qualifications and also experience/desire to teach KS2 learners. The role will vary day to day and the school are looking for someone who can make a real difference in the childrens lives, someone who is robust while also of a caring nature.Requirements:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience Teaching Key Stage 2.
