Job Description

Tenancy ManagerThis is a full time position Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5.30pmHybrid working blended between our Byfleet office and remote home working arrangements (2 days in the office)Basic Salary up to £22,000 per annum, depending on level of industry experience, PLUS monthly commission scheme where you can earn an additional £2,000 per annumThe Stirling story began in 1873 and since then, our estate agency has stood the test of time through every high and low of the property market. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to begin their career in property as we will provide you will full training and development throughout your career with us. RequirementsThe main purpose of role is to effectively and efficiently manage the daily operations of our Lettings portfolio with specific focus on the tenancy, whilst maintaining and delivering quality customers service, in support to our Property Managers.Duties will include;

  • Collecting of rent arrears; maintaining regular communication and records when rent is outstanding and reporting any non-payments to the relevant person
  • Processing the end of tenancy notices and completing all required actions; advising tenant and landlord of the Tenancy Agreement and Terms of Business to ensure noticed is served correctly
  • Releasing deposits; advising tenant and landlord if there are any disputes using the My Deposits scheme
The successful candidate will have/be;
  • Proven working experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to be empathetic and/or assertive when required
  • Ability to work as part of a team, effectively contributing toward departmental projects, KPIs and wider objectives.
  • Resilient and consistent when faced with conflict and driven to resolve challenges positively
  • Customer focused; always looking to find the best compromise to ensure all parties are satisfied with the result and would recommend the service
  • Structured and organised, able to manage complex and fluid workloads, re-prioritising where required and effectively utilising software to capture update
