What does this Lead Support Worker job involveHours of Work: 37.5 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 07:15 - 14:45 / 14:15 - 21:45 / 07:15 - 21:45
  • Support day-to-day home operations and assist the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager.
  • Lead and mentor staff, promoting a caring environment and meeting diverse needs.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and handle inquiries and complaints.
  • Collaborate with inspectors, assess individual needs, and contribute to care plans.
  • Oversee domestic duties, plan menus, and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Facilitate effective team communication, support induction, and ensure records are up to date.
  • Advocate for individuals in financial matters, following the Mental Capacity Act.
  • Embrace flexibility to handle varied responsibilities as needed.

  • Experienced in conducting financial audits, medication orders, and leading shifts safely.
  • Proficient in carrying out Health and Safety Risk assessments and uploading incident reports.
  • Knowledgeable and committed to a person-centered care approach, with a mentoring background for new support workers.
  • Holds a Level 3 in Adult Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Completed or willing to complete a Fire Marshal qualification.
  • Completed Health and Safety Masterclass training, including risk assessments.
  • Commits to ongoing learning and development, attending required training courses.
