Job Description

FP&A Manager – 6-9 Month FTC£70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus & benefitsAila is excited to announce a partnership with a leading manufacturing business in Watford on the recruitment of a senior finance leader, joining as an FP&A Manager on an interim basis, initially for 6 months with view for extension. This role sits within asmall team looking after management reporting and future financial planning and analysis. This role will take ownership of the month-end accounting and analysis of a global organisation with a collaborative working culture and fantastic benefits.You will be tasked with delivering actual monthly management accounts, annual budgets and periodic reforecasts for several cost centres within operations commercial and other business support functions across a £200m spend.You’ll be working in the UK division of a global business that is impact focused and has grown substantially in the last few years. As FP&A Manager, you have line management responsibility for a financial analyst who supports you in preparing financial informationand cost control over the commercial & business support functionsAs a business, they offer a personable, friendly and extremely secure environment for you to thrive in with excellent benefits and a fantastic hybrid working policy.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounting results over the companies functional spend to ensure the results reflect the accounting policies of the company
  • Provide business assurance over the financial results prior to close and ensure appropriate corrective journals are posted
  • Working with Business Partnering team to ensure data integrity over results
  • Providing Operations KPI reporting pack
  • Managing Functional cost reporting to Group Finance
  • Prepare the company’s annual budget and reforecast base case
  • Understand the nature and corrective actions over functional cost variances to budget and forecast, taking lead in explaining these variances to local and group stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in the company’s financial metrics as well as its Key Performance Indicators reporting
  • Support & provide information in both external & internal audit
  • Manage, support and develop a Financial Analyst
  • Support in the preparation of consolidated information packs and analysis for the Divisional 5 Year Plan
