This involves cleaning and maintaining our products such as welfare units and plant equipment as well as siteoffices, the canteen and toilets. The role will involve cleaning duties, general labouring, moving materials, and keeping the site clean and tidy under the supervision of a manager on site.The Washbay Operative will also be a strong advocate for Health and Safety by wearing all related PPE including Safety boots and a Hi-Visibility vest in accordance with site policies.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities*Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops between moving machinery*Wiping surfaces down*Mopping floors with wet or damp mopsCleaning with pressure washer*Dusting, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, floors, radiators*To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) when necessary*Take on additional responsibility as and when required*Carry out occasional maintenance dutiesQualifications and SkillsEssential
