Job Description

Device Management Engineer Join our clients fast-growing business as a Device Management Engineer. Youll manage and administer over 12,000 devices, handling escalated incidents, software deployments, and day-to-day device administration.Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Resolve device-related incidents escalated by the IT Service Desk.
  • Device Administration: Manage devices, including anti-virus, application deployment, and group policy.
  • OS Maintenance: Maintain and deploy operating system images.
  • Application Deployment: Package and deploy enterprise applications securely.
  • Service Promotion: Advocate for services like Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • On-site Support: Assist with device installations, including occasional travel.
Requirements:
  • Device Management Experience: Microsoft, Android, or Apple devices in an enterprise setting.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Jamf, Soti, or SCCM/MECM, as well as mobile device management.
  • Application Packaging: Knowledge of packaging techniques and deployment methods.
  • Office 365: Experience supporting Office 365.
  • Networking: Understanding of DNS and DHCP.
  • Security Applications: Familiarity with enterprise anti-virus products.
  • Asset Management: Knowledge of asset management for hardware and software.
Skills:
  • Problem-Solving: Strong IT problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organisation: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Pressure Handling: Work well under pressure.
  • Interpersonal: Relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.
  • ITIL Experience: Understanding of ITIL processes.
