Are you looking to become part of a fun, friendly and energetic team providing support to individuals in Bury, LancashireWe are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated support worker to provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities at our supported living service in Bury, Lancashire. Our service is home to 3 ladies with learning disabilities, including Downs Syndrome and Alzheimer ’s disease. The ladies love nothing more than going out for the day, whether this is to Bury for a look around the shops or visiting Burrs Country Park for a walk and a pub lunch! They enjoy all aspects of community living and the ideal candidate will enjoy supporting them to fulfil their passions and engage in a range of exciting activities.Your role will include:– Providing excellent personal care, manual handling and administering medication,– Being willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, including daytimes, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays,– Help with all aspects of daily living including domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning,– Supporting residents to enjoy a wide range of activities within the home and community which meets their needs.We are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment!
