Job Description

We are collaborating with a leading cryptocurrency mining and blockchain solutions provider, dedicated to educating and empowering individuals and businesses about the compelling investment opportunities in the cryptocurrency world.Our clients portfolio encompasses a flagship crypto mining rig, and their consultancy services are internationally acclaimed. As part of their evolving offerings, they are expanding into machine learning and AI integration, and this is where you come in.We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team and drive in-house development while eventually leading a team. Your expertise and enthusiasm should encompass the following areas:Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Centre Hardware: Design, build, and manage data centre hardware, including multiple GPU systems, ensuring efficient operation under various workloads.
  • Networking Proficiency: Configure and maintain network resources, manage VLANs, NAT, and port mapping, addressing bandwidth limitations for seamless data centre operations.
  • ISO and Standards Compliance: Demonstrate a strong understanding of ISO standards, ensuring strict adherence for security and quality in data centre operations.
  • Operating System Expertise: Possess extensive experience with Linux and multiple operating systems, with proficiency in coding and programming for tasks such as OS installations.
  • GPU Requirements: In-depth knowledge of GPU requirements for specific workloads, optimizing hardware for peak performance.
  • Industry Insights: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing valuable insights into the future direction of the technology sector.
Location:Headquartered in North Manchester, you will be expected in the office five days a week. While some flexibility is available, given the roles involvement with physical hardware, on-site presence is typically required.Whats On Offer:
