Job Description

Our Client, a Local Authority based in Greater Manchester, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join its Moving and Handling Optimisation Team.Payrate of £32-£35 per hour!This Multi-Disciplinary Team, consisting of OTs, Physios, Therapy Assistants and a Senior Social Worker, are reviewing the needs of people currently receiving double cover packages of care to provide interventions that promote independence and reduce careneeds.Responsibilities:

  • Priorities of the role will involve complex and challenging conversations with people, families, carers and providers to highlight the benefits of optimising a person’s care and engagement with assessors across health and social care to promote and embedthe optimisation of care.
  • Reviewing the needs of people currently receiving double cover packages of care to provide interventions that promote independence and reduce care needs.
  • Provide a high quality and comprehensive social work service to adults, carers and the community in accordance with statutory guidelines and the Authority’s needs, policies and practices.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience working within Adults Social Work.
  • Must be a car driver.
