A Church of England Primary school have come to Supply Desk with a requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis, full time for the rest of the academic year with a Pupil in Year 2 who has recently received funding.The school based in Prestwich is one form entry and had a recent OFSTED inspection in 2019 and was graded good. Behaviour throughout the school is good with Teaching also good. Each class in school has a general Teaching Assistant supporting the Teacher and any children with Educational Healthcare plans have specialist support.The pupil in question is said to have complex needs with mild Autism. During the day the successful candidate will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis and help the pupil to access the curriculum by using the teachers planning and simplifying this.
