Job Description

Great opportunity to work within the NHS. My client is recruiting a Medical Receptionist to work at the site in Bury. Full time hours 8am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday, paying GBP9.50 per hour. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, client willingto train.About The Role:

  • Fantastic opportunity to get into the NHS proffession. My client is looking for an experienced receptionist to join the team. They also will consider candidates without any NHS / Medical Experience. Full time hours 8am - 6.30pm - across Monday to Fridayworking 30 hours, paying £9.50 per hour
  • Essential Skills & Experience
  • A typical day in an NHS GP Practice
  • This role is a very busy and demanding role, requires the candidate to have patience and understanding
  • Dealing with patients both face to face and over the phone
  • Taking down accurate messages and information
  • Using the in-house system to access and update patients records
  • Organising appointments
  • Arranging for blood tests
  • Requesting of prescriptions
  • General admin support to the team
Any previous medical experience would be desirable, with use of in house medical systems such as Emis, Docman 10 About The Benefits
