Job Description

Our client based in Bury is seeking a professional Loss Adjuster to join their growing teamAs loss adjuster, you are likely to be an insurance professional who has a good understanding of how claims are dealt with and would be able to help the client throughout the journey.

  • Preparing accounts for High value claims.
  • Working with insurance loss adjusters to negotiate remedies
  • Interviewing customers
  • Gathering evidence
  • Requesting reports from specialists, like building surveyors
  • Checking that policies cover losses and customers are claiming a reasonable amount
  • Organising clean-up operations, or arranging building repairs
  • Making further investigations if you suspect fraud
  • Presenting reports and recommendations to insurers
  • Advising claimants on how to avoid further losses
  • Calculating and agreeing settlement of
  • Preparing reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim, including policy analysis and liability
  • The Requirements

  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • The ability to work well with others
  • The ability to use your initiative
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A track record in managing customer accounts.
