They are looking to grow their Merchandising team as there are going through a period of growth. You the International Junior Merchandiser will lead the team to deliver sales, Markdown, stock, intake and profit plans. You will be reporting into the Senior Merchandiser and your role will include build the Range plan and manage the Stock seasonalitywithin the WSSI.Description

• Managing OTB to trade international markets and maximise profits by collaborating with franchise partners
• Top line planning of precise stock allocation to build cohesive and market appropriate ranges
• Review and analyse sales performance and trend reactions to devise a merchandise plan and anticipate future product needs
• Work closely with Merchandising, Buying and International VM to maximise sales performance through effective management and communication whilst identifying growth areas within individual markets
• Work with buyer and franchise partners to create option plans by department pre season to maximise growth areas and minimise risks
• Driving and maintaining Critical Path to ensure credible range will be in stores pre and during season
• Attain partner market knowledge to share with core Merchandising and Buying teams to ensure tailored product mix is available to maximise sales and minimise terminal stock
• Set up market WSSIs and re-forecast sales, intake and MD spends throughout season to provide accurate forecast and intake quota keeping in line with KPIs
• Reviewing WSSI weekly to ensure future monthly intake is in line with forecasted sales performance and take into consideration any promos and stock builds to ensure healthy cover and shop floor fill
• Advising partners on markdown and pricing strategy to keep MD spend in line with stock levels
• Monitoring slow sellers and offering suggestions to partners to reduce prices or set promotions
• Using partner weekly trade and product feedback to identify opportunities and risk for the market
• Understanding the UK strategy and how to incorporate into International markets
• Working with the Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure timely deliveries of stock into DC and into the market
• Working with the International buyer to create and develop special buy ranges to fulfil international market requirements
• Using departmental mixes and sales plans to determine the season OTB and providing options gaps to buyer pre sign offs to ensure correct range splits

Profile

• Experience working at Assistant Merchandiser level or above in a retail head office is essential
• Planning, trading and analytical skills
• Ability to think on feet and make decisions working within in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commercial and brand awareness with an interest in product
• Professional with excellent communication skills
• Confident, enthusiastic and hungry to learn
• Highly organised, methodical and efficient
