Excellent role on offer for an experienced HGV Technician looking to work for a world renowned, market leading distribution company where you will work within a close knit team whilst enjoying a varied role and interesting role.Do you have experience of servicing and repairing HGVs / LGVs or similar vehicles Are you looking to work for a stable company that have looked after their staff throughout the pandemic and not used the furlough scheme Are you looking for a varied role mixed between the workshop and occasionally travelling to their other regional sites locally to carry out planned maintenance workThis company is the world largest express transportation / Distribution Company providing fast reliable services to more than 220 countries. They have seen ongoing business growth and expansion and due to a forthcoming retirement they are looking to recruit a HGV Technician to work in their busy vehicle maintenance depot.You will be required to service and repair the companys fleet of heavy goods vehicles which range from DAFs, Ivecos, MAN and Mercedes in line with planned maintenance schedules. It is mostly workshop based however there will be requirements to travel to their other regional sites.This role would ideally suit an experienced HGV / LGV Technician that is looking to join a stable, well established company whilst being well looked after by a world renowned blue chip organisation.The Role;* Service and repair of a range of the companys fleet of HGVs / LGVs* Investigate and rectify vehicle defects* Work in line with planned maintenance schedules* Working in a close knit team* Working 8pm - 5am Monday to Friday* £34,000 - £35,500 per annum + Upskill Training + BenefitsThe Person;* HGV / LGV Technician* Must hold a NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or equivalent* Must have an excellent work ethic* Must have good communication skills* Must be looking for a long term careerThis vacancy is being advertised by Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd.
