Job Description

Our client are a fast growth business.Due to continued success they are now looking for a Digital Marketing (Data) Analyst to join the marketing team.Purpose of the RoleReporting into the PPC and Data Manager, you will work across a range of brands, empowering the Marketing team by providing a deeper understanding of customers and using data to help them make efficient media planning and buying decisions.Digital marketing analysts carry out general, quantitative and qualitative research to produce media evaluation reports, these are then used to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They will primarily concentrate on data analysis and insights with a particular focus on monitoring success and providing insights from marketing campaigns.The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience working within an analytical role and be ready for the next step in their career. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and has a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create and maintain an enhanced suite of reports that can be used to provide performance updates to the wider business as well as relevant channel level insights to optimise activity.
  • Working with large data sets, you will observe customer interactions, develop predictive models and help the business by creating automated data solutions to aid decision-making.
  • Perform analysis across a variety of data topics to help solve challenges such as interpreting A/B test results, predicting behaviours and finding top performing segments.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to support the strategic direction through the better use of data.
  • Set up and maintain tags within Google Tag Manager.
  • Maintain our Google Analytic accounts and properties, ensuring they are set up to best practice and are delivering accurate data.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive business relationships with IT teams, agencies and third-party suppliers.
    • Experience and Attributes
  • Previous experience working within an analytical role, ideally within a digitally focussed business.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of the configuration and deployment of digital analytics tools, ideally Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Adwords. Skills include setting up accounts and properties, filters, funnels, custom dimensions and metrics, creating segments and goals.
  • High degree of numeracy and literacy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail oriented with first class analytical skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player who is also able to work independently under own initiative to identify and improve current processes and explore further opportunities.
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships across teams and at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload, to tight deadlines.
