Job Description

A multi-disciplinary Consultancy is actively seeking a Construction Project Manager to become an integral part of their team in Manchester.This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work within the healthcare sector, contributing to a range of projects from small ward conversions to the development of new hospitals on greenfield sites.The Construction Project Manager RoleThe successful Construction Project Manager will be instrumental in delivering strategic, outline, and full business cases for both refurbishment and new-build projects throughout the North West and North East. This role is tailored for an individual whothrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a tangible impact within the healthcare sector.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports and progress updates, to stakeholders at all levels.
The Construction Project Manager
  • Must hold a degree in Project Management or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management principles.
  • Should possess a minimum of 4 years of work experience within a consultancy environment, showcasing a proven track record in project management.
  • Requires a strong background in healthcare projects, evidencing the ability to manage complex projects in this sector with finesse.
  • MRICS/MAPM qualifications are a bonus, highlighting a commitment to professional development, though not essential for the role.
  • Must be driven and enthusiastic, embodying the consultancys values of innovation and excellence.
