This very successful business who have been operating for over 100 years are looking for a Process Operator with a Counterbalance FLT licence and a background in a manufacturing environment. They have an immediate opportunity with a salary of GBP23,900and benefits including 23 days holidays plus bank holidays, free parking, a pension scheme and employee assistance programme.What will I be doing as a Chemical Process OperatorOperating a forklift truck Weighing out raw materials (both liquids and solids) and loading them into a vessel (batch manufacture) Packing finished product into small pails, drums or IBCs Working within specific and stringent health and safety guidelines due to the use of flammable chemicals Ensuring that workstations at kept clean and safe at all times Limiting the creation of waste during vessel and pipework clean downs Ensuring accurate records are kept at all times We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:You will have previous process operative or warehouse operative experience and can manage a manual handling load of up to 25 kilos You hold a current valid counterbalance FLT license Experience working with hazardous goods or chemicals would be beneficial but is not essential Whats in it for me as a Chemical Process operatorA salary of GBP23,900 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays Pension scheme Free parking On site canteen facilities 1 hr lunch & 2 x 15 minute breaks Great surrounding transport links Personal development plan Employee assistance programme Next stepsIf this sounds like a Process Operator role you will LOVE, please send your CV today We aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
