We are actively seeking an experienced Pre-Construction with commercial awareness to work on a full time permanent basis, on behalf of a Tier 1, forward thinking Top 3 Contractor, based in Cambridge.Coming from a Main Contracting background, you will be reporting to both a Pre-Construction Director & a Regional Director with regard to new build projects within the Education, Health, Science & R&D sectors up to £25,000,000 in value, on both a single& 2 stage tender basis. Scope of works include Private & public sector with projects also being on a framework basis, worth up to £500,000,000 in total.You will have Estimators & Bid Managers reporting to you, your role being to look at different and outside the box solutions in order to win the work. A strong background in Pre-Construction is required, as is the ability to think outside of the box withina challenging market which includes the requirement of possessing considerable client facing skills. This, essentially, is a genuine opportunity for an Experienced Pre-Construction manager to make his or her mark on their own Pre-Construction department, withBid Managers & Estimators reporting into you, thus allowing you to price up and bid for work utilising your own style.The Company behind the vacancy is a well known Cambridge based Main Contractor who have a wealth of work and who are seeking to expand their work load.
