Job Description

Service Desk Administratorc£21,000 - £24,000 per annum(Negotiable based on experience)Burtonwood - WarringtonMonday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00 pm - 30 mins lunch breakAnd every other Saturday Morning - 8:00 am - 12:00 pmAdditional overtime is available to boost earnings The Company:Our client is a franchised Scania Dealership which has 5 depots throughout the North West of England. This position will be based at their depot in Burtonwood where they carry out serving and repairs of Commercial Vehicles.Experience Required: The role is for a Service Desk Administrator assisting with the day to day running of a busy HGV service department. The ideal candidate will already have experience in the motor industry (Cars or Commercial Vehicles), and perhaps in a similar role (ServiceDesk Admin/Reception, Parts Advisor, Warranty Admin), although this is not essential, candidates with industry experience will be prioritised in the short-listing process. Preferably you will have some experience of working with the IT package ADP Kerridge,but again, this is not essential as full training will be given. You will be required however to have some experience working as an Administrator in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,be IT literate as well as thriving on multi-tasking and working under pressure and be of smart appearance.Main Duties:

  • Constant communication with customers via phone, and email
  • Contacting customers with repair updates & gaining repair authority
  • Reviewing current work in progress and liaise with Workshop Controller
  • Creating estimates for repair authorisation
  • Organising vehicle campaign recalls
  • Carrying out daily VOR reporting
  • Controlling the allocation and issue of courtesy vehicles
  • Maintaining the R2C portal
  • Liaise with Scania Assistance with updates
  • Processing cash sale invoices and take payments
  • Partaking in daily meetings with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors
  • Responsibility for and controlling vehicle compliance, service schedules and maintenance programs
  • Monitoring vehicle compliance dates on the system
  • Checking the manufacturer system for information on vehicle contracts, history and recalls
  • Liaising with the Workshop Controller on customers requirement feedback
  • Raise job cards and issue to Workshop Controller
  • Liaise with internal departments as required
