Job Description

Commercial Vehicle Parts AdvisorBurtonwood, Warrington3 x weekly shift patterns Monday to FridayWorking two Saturday mornings, take one off (repeated)c£29,500.00 per annum+ additional overtime available!Hours of Work:

  • Week one: 06:30 - 14:30 Monday
07:30 - 15:30 Tuesday to Friday
  • Week two: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
  • Week three: 13:30 - 22:00 Monday to Friday
  • Saturday overtime 08:00 - 12:00 (Work two Saturdays followed by one Saturday off)
And:
  • On call out (1 in 4 weekends - the same weekend that you are working the Saturday) On Call rate of pay £50.00 per day and £30.00 per hour for any time spent picking up and dropping off parts, a company vehicle is available for call outsif required.
The Company:Our client is a franchised Scania Dealership with a number of depots throughout the North-West. This position will be based at their depot in Warrington where they carry out servicing and repairs of Commercial Vehicles. You will be joining the team as aParts Advisor where you will be the first point of contact for all customers.Experience & Skills Required: The ideal candidate for this would already have experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry, preferably from within a Parts Department of a Dealership. Knowledge and experience of Kerridge Software would also be considered an advantage. You will be requiredto have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be IT literate and able to multi-task.Duties:
  • Assisting in the day-to-day running of a busy commercial vehicle Parts Department
  • Dealing with customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Ensuring all parts orders are processed quickly and efficiently
  • Supplying parts to customers including delivery to their premises
  • Carrying out stock checks and audits
  • Building customer relations
  • Supplying technicians with parts
  • Ordering parts/stock, purchasing stock
  • Providing updates to customer
  • Carrying out invoicing
  • Support increased part sales and fixed price repairs through proactive selling
  • Proactively work to improve CSI and mystery shop results.
  • Ensure all customer complaints are escalated to the Parts Supervisor / Manager ensuring the quickest resolution possible
  • Comply with company Health and Safety standards
Additional Info:
  • Initially you will be working 8:30 am -4:30 pm shifts
  • Initial self-enrolment pension scheme (first 12 months)
  • Contributory pension scheme (after 12 months service)
  • 28 days holiday including statutory bank holidays
  • Scania training
  • The hourly rate equates to £11.73 for standard hours and overtime is paid at time and a half (£17.60 p/h)
  • Overtime is paid at £19.20 per hour from midnight to 06.00 and on Sundays
  • Saturdays are paid at £17.60 per hour (You are contracted to work two Saturdays in a row, followed by one Saturday off - this will repeat) + £50.00 per day (same for any Sundays or Bank Holidays worked)
  • Therefore, you will work 35 Saturdays per annum
  • The On Call rate of pay is £50.00 per day and you will work 13 weekends per annum.
  • The above rate also applies for Sundays or Bank Holidays worked
  • An extra £30.00 per hour is paid for any time spent picking up and dropping off parts and this is approximately 2 calls outs per weekend that youre working = c£3,000.00 annum
