Job Description

Travel and Tourism Part Time LecturerPart time 24 hours per weekFixed term until 31st December 2022, with potential to extendUp to £19.80 per hour depending on experienceBurton on Trent, Town Centre CampusWho are we looking forBurton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a qualified, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Travel and Tourism curriculum team.The successful candidate will teach across a range of travel and tourism modules from levels 1 to 3, aligned to their occupational skillset to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessments to our learners. In this role, the successful candidatewill be able to demonstrate innovative teaching and learning, coupled with excellent communication skills to motive and guide learners to succeed.Applicants will ideally hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) in travel tourism, event management or a related subject, and have substantial industry experience within the occupational setting.
