Job Description

Are you an experienced Quality Manager or Technical Manager who has worked in the food manufacturing industry If so, our client, a large food manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Technical Trading Manager to join their team. The rolewill be based in Burton-on-Trent with travel to the company’s overseas locations. The position will involve managing the technical function and being directly responsible for ensuring the integrity, food safety, quality, and legality of all products.Technical Trading ManagerPermanentSalary dependant on experienceBurton-on-Trent with travel overseas Technical Trading ManagerJob Description

  • Designing industry leading standards, procedures, policies, and associated recording mechanisms ensuring that the business operates within current food manufacturing regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with the site’s key performance indicators, goals and themes, including maintenance of reporting mechanisms.
  • Leading daily, weekly and monthly KPI management, showing continuous improvement and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Implementing a culture of continuous improvement and promoting first time right culture.
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to deliver results on time, and within budget.
  • Managing relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Technical Trading ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous quality management experience within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of BRC or GFSI global standard, industry best practice and guidance.
  • Experience working in a multi-tiered organisation.
  • Ability to travels across Europe for the requirements of the role.
  • HACCP Level 4 Qualification;
